Overview
Learn how to access North American University learning resources smoothly from remote especially in China and India.
FortiGate Firewall can be used as a VPN server to provide remote access for students located in China and India or anywhere in the world to access education resources in North America. But latency, jitter and packet loss caused by cross-border internet connectivity makes the VPN connection unstable which largely impacts remote learning experience. Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator (GA) is used to accelerate VPN connection from China/India to US. As a network acceleration service, it ensures stable VPN connection by providing multiple access points closed to students in China/India, providing leased-line based Alibaba Cloud backbone for cross-border transmission together with optimized transmission protocol and smart routing technology.
