Overview

This is the first time that Alibaba Cloud is formally launched in South Africa and Africa market. Our presentative Mrs.Lixiang Baumann, Managing Director of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Africa, is leading these serials of launch sessions together with our MEA team, starting from Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa, later on in the year we will be planning similar launch sessions in Kenya, Nigeria, Nigeria and Egypt.

Africa's cloud market and digital transformation is growing rapidly, as a world leading cloud service provider, Africa is a very important market for us. We'll continue to extend our capacity in the region to support our customers. We believe that with our Alibaba Cloud’s innovative industry vertical solutions across fintech, retail, logistic, government and many others, we will be able to adding value to the Africa's digital transformation.

We aim to promote Alibaba Cloud brand awareness in Africa and create opportunities for us to work with potential customers in Africa through these sessions.

    Lixiang has been working in the telcommunication industry in Africa for the last two dacades, bringing a wealth of Africa maket insight. Prior to joining Alibaba Cloud, Lixiang headed up CMI (China Mobile International SA) as Country Head.

    Head of Solutions, Alibaba Cloud MEA

    Hasnain is working with Alibaba Cloud leading complex engagements across multiple industry vertical solutions, a career spanning over 16 years across solution and service providers covering geographies like ME, Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe.

  • Bader Barham

    Senior Solution Architect, Alibaba Cloud MEA

    Bader is working with Alibaba Cloud as a Senior Solution Architect. He is one of the youngest and most talented SA in Alibaba Cloud team. Bader has been in UAE since 2014 working on the digital transformation and IT field.

  • Ziher Huang

    Financial Solutions Architect, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Intl' Business

    Ziher had practiced architecture for more than 10 years. Currently, She looks after the financial related solution designs for Alibaba Cloud international business. Before joining Alibaba, she was the lead architect in HSBC group and enable the bank cloud service back to China.
