With more than three decades of experience in the ICT sector, Julian has a profound understanding of customer needs, and is a high-energy, results-oriented leader with an entrepreneurial attitude. He brings to the role his ability to lead and coach business development teams across the African continent, an excellent general knowledge of business, taking strategy from mere planned activities to implementation.
Julian joined Business Connexion in 2005 as a Divisional Executive in Sales and Marketing and has since held several positions in different sections of the business, including Chief Revenue Officer: Mid-Market and Managing Executive: International. Before joining BCX, he held several executive management positions, including Divisional Executive at Bidvest and Managing Director of ASI South Africa.

Jonas Bogoshi is a determined and principled leader. He came from humble beginnings and believes that when challenges face a company, employees need clarity from an honest and transparent leadership team. Jonas was appointed to his current role in June 2018 and brings his deep knowledge and expertise of the ICT sector to our organisation. Jonas wants to see BCX building an agile ecosystem through partnering with small and medium-sized companies, to build on partnerships already established with bigger players in all sectors of the economy.
With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, Jonas has more than 28 years’ experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. Before joining BCX he was Country Manager for data storage giant EMC Corporation.

Daniel Jiang is GM of META region, Head of International Hybrid Cloud Business Development, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. He has more than 20 years' working experiences in the communication, IT, and cloud domains. He is responsible for Cloud Intelligence International’s Solutions across multiple industries and technologies including IaaS, PaaS, Big Data, Security, and AI. his mission is to enable the customers to achieve success in “Data Intelligence”.

Jan started his career as an IT Professional at a leading iron and steel manufacturing company. Thereafter he joined Andersen Consulting and later Accenture (a Global NYSE-listed company), where he had an impressive 23-year career as a Management Consultant, 13 years of which he served as Managing Director (Partner). He was involved in various multi-year IT transformation projects. Jan joined BCX in 2017 to lead Transformational Solutions and Pre-sales. Since then, he has held key positions as Managing Executive for the West Coast Region and Managing Executive for Retail and Consumer Goods. In 2021, Jan was appointed Managing Executive for Enterprise Application Solutions, and in March 2021, he was appointed Chief of Digital Platform Solutions.

Lixiang has been working in the telecommunication and IT industry in Africa for the last two decades, bringing a wealth of Africa market insight. Prior to joining Alibaba Cloud, Lixiang headed up CMI (China Mobile International) as Country Head in South Africa, leading the team responsible for Southern Africa and Western Africa market. Lixiang has rich experience of setting up new territorial operation for multi-national companies in Africa and held various management roles in the companies that she served. Lixiang later on obtaining her MBA degree in South Africa WITS Business School.

Hasnain is working with Alibaba Cloud leading complex engagements across multiple industry verticals,a career spanning over 16 years across solution & service providers.Extensive work experience across Australia,Asia Pacific,Europe & now Middle East & Africa.

Bader is working with Alibaba Cloud as a Solution Lead. He is one of the youngest and most talented SA in Alibaba Cloud team. Bader has been in UAE since 2014 working on the digital transformation and cloud intelligence.

Qadir Ghulam, An Alibaba Cloud Industry Solution Architect having more than 15 years experience in the IT Sector, A Diamond Tier MVP, Expert in Cloud Computing & Big Data, Certified Professional trainer for Cloud Computing, Cloud Security, Cloud Native, Big Data, DevOps, and Container Solutions & Migration Services.

Ziher had practiced architecture for more than 10 years. Currently, She looks after the financial related solution designs for Alibaba Cloud international business. Before joining Alibaba, she was the lead architect in HSBC group and enable the bank cloud service back to China.

Shaheen has over 20 years’ experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) arena and plans to drive strategic initiatives and provide executive-level support to top decision-makers, both within BCX and for our customers. Shaheen joined us in June 2019 and has experience in leadership and management in all areas of finance, sales and delivery.
Before joining BCX, Shaheen was Channel Sales Director at Dell EMC South Africa.  He led the Channel Sales organisation in South Africa and Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries, implementing and heading up a consultative selling approach to position Dell EMC’s global strategy. Shaheen previously held positions at Microsoft and T-Systems. Shaheen holds a Bachelor degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Jonathan Tullett is research manager, IT services for IDC sub-Saharan Africa. His specialist areas include IT services, outsourcing, and cloud computing, as well as information security and digital transformation. Originally from the UK, Jon spent two decades working in technology and media across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is currently based in Johannesburg.

Yong Zhou has more than 20 years of work experience in software and solution domain, including software development, software architecture design, solution architecture design and solution sales, last 5 years focusing on helping customers adopting cloud computing, big data and AI in different verticals. Now Yong Zhou work as chief solution architect in Alibaba Cloud MEA. He is responsible for system on cloud architecture design for enterprise customers in Middle East and Africa region, especially hybrid cloud architecture, customers ranging from Internet, Retail, FinTech, Telecommunication, Energy etc.
