Securing the ‘New Normal’ of Banking Operation

One of the seismic shifts caused by Covid-19 has been the accelerated adoption of a remote workforce and employees expecting to be able to work from home more frequently going forward. New risks have emerged as staff are away from a controlled office into a remote digital working environment, hence we need to rethink the cybersecurity operating model that is needed to secure the hybrid environment.

With the theme “Securing the ‘New Normal’ of Banking Operation”, this year’s event will explore how cybersecurity leaders can reshape their security and risk strategy to cope with the new normal of banking operation. Featuring keynote sessions and panel debates, the event will highlight how organisations should upgrade their cybersecurity framework to leverage the new best practices to deal with the security complexities brought by the hybrid environment and how to remediate the emerging risks. Our guest speakers will also identify the key industry trends and innovations, such as cloud security management and the use of AI in Cybersecurity.

The Cybersecurity Solutions Day aims to gather decision makers from the financial sector and serves as a platform for direct networking between industry experts, solution providers and practitioners. Our mission is to bring insights on the latest issues in cybersecurity, and food for thoughts on how to mitigate the risk of exacerbated cyber threats.

The event will focus on qualitative knowledge-sharing and technology solutions for the financial and banking sector to enhance their cybersecurity preparedness as well as regulatory compliance, such as the Cybersecurity Fortification Initiative (CFI) 2.0 recently launched by the HKMA.

The interactive programme and the exhibition zone will allow delegates to discover new technologies to help with managing day-to-day cybersecurity challenges as well as preparing for the new normal of banking operation.
